Leadership Georgia Program Comes to Cartersville

More than 100 of Georgia’s top businesspeople, civic leaders, industry specialists and economic development gurus are set to embark upon Bartow County next week as part of the illustrious Leadership Georgia Program. The Leadership Georgia Program — an affiliate of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce — started in the early 1970s. The program is designed to “identify, train and inspire a network of emerging young leaders,” specifically those in the 25-45 age range, throughout the state.

The Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the 2018 Class of Leadership Georgia. Thanks in great part to the efforts of our alumni and local Chambers, an extraordinary number of qualified nominees were submitted for consideration this year. Furthermore, the depth and breadth of individual applications were equally impressive. The process to select a high caliber class of leaders representative of our growing state becomes more challenging every year.
